Solar Eclipse – Achievements

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will sweep across the U.S.

Achievements has produced a mini curriculum to help schools teach about this rare cosmic event to their classes.

The Achievements solar eclipse mini course provides students with a basic understanding of this phenomenon, as well as a glimpse at the wonderous workings of our moon, sun, and solar system.

Included in the lessons:

– Earth’s daily and yearly cycles

– The sun and moon and their effect on the Earth’s seasons

– Solar and lunar eclipses

– Details about the upcoming total solar eclipse

The course is appropriate for grades Primary-12.

A classroom set includes the following:

Digital booklets the school can print out themselves for 25 Students

Teachers Edition booklet the school prints out by themselves

Instructions for a fun class project

Video tutorial of the project for the teacher

Project kits and solar eclipse sunglasses are available upon request.

Cost:

$3 per student for the curriculum only

$1.50 per solar eclipse sunglasses

$295 per class for project kits. Includes solar eclipse sunglasses. Does not include curriculum.

$370 per class including everything

Schools who have purchased any of our science curricula can get this mini course at half price.

The course is appropriate for grades Primary-12.
