Original, non-fiction passages on engaging topics like Johnny Appleseed, geysers and volcanoes, Woodpeckers, Polio Vaccine and glassblowing.
Lessons include closed- and open-ended questions aligned with Common Core standards, designed by ELA experts to build critical thinking (Bloom’s Taxonomy).
Built-in vocabulary curriculum can be used alone or with other classroom activities.
Teacher edition includes activity ideas, interactive discussion prompts, and three comprehension check-in questions per lesson.
